The mission of Combat Marine Outdoors is to provide Dream Hunts and Outdoor Adventures for severely wounded Marines, Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors and Navy Corpsmen. These hunting and fishing excursions play a vital role in the rehabilitation of these American heroes. Lochinvar Safaris have been proud to partner with Combat Marine Outdoors to support these veterans.

Ron Sullivan lost both of his legs to an I.E.D. explosion in Afghanistan a couple of years ago. Ron is Marine Corp and shot an Awesome Red Stag, a stunning Bull Tahr an Arapawa Ram and some cull Fallow Deer at long range.

2016 - SSgt. Jeremy Austin

SSgt. Jeremy Austin lost both of his legs to an I.E.D Explosion in Afghanistan in April 2009. Jeremy is US marine Corp shot a beautiful Bull Tahr, a nice Red Stag and 2 great Fallow Bucks. He then went on to Cull some Fallow Deer at long range along with some Wallabies. Jeremy had an awesome attitude to life and all of us at Lochinvar Safaris wish him all the very best for his future. 2015 - Sgt. Matthew Krumwiede

Sgt. Matthew Krumwiede lost both of his legs above the knees and his left arm was badly damaged to an I.E.D. Explosion in Afghanistan 2 years ago. Matthew is US Army and shot a beautiful Himalayan Bull Tahr at a range of 623 yards. He then went on to shoot his Red Stag at a range of 300 yards, as well as some Cull Fallow Deer at long range.

2014 - Corporal Michael Egan

Corporal Michael Egan lost both of his legs above the knee to an I.E.D. Explosion in Afghanistan in 2012. Michael was a Marine Corp Sniper and was up to the task of getting an awesome Himalayan Bull Tahr with a Christensen Arms Carbon Custom Tactical .338 Lapua at long range. He then shot several cull Fallow Bucks. Michael removed his new prosthetic legs and hunted from his wheelchair. Michael has a fantastic attitude to life and we at Lochinvar Safaris wish him all the best for the rest of his life.

2013 - Lieutenant James Elkins

Our first donation to the Combat Marine Outdoors, Wounded Warrior program was in 2013. Lieutenant James Elkins was the recipient. James was shot in the base of the skull by an Afghani sniper and he was lucky enough to survive. The bullet exited his right side cheek. A new 3 inch Titanium jaw was needed and he has since been medically discharged from the Rangers.
